Top Handmade by me | Skirt Primark | Jelly Shoes New Look bought from ASOS (sold out find similar here)
Here we have another completely different look from my normally laid back and super casual blog posts but I wanted to try something a little different (as I seem to be doing more and more nowadays) and actually dress for my gender...for once. The top you actually may recognise from a previous post (click here to read) and it is a top I am very proud to wear as I made it myself! I've just bought some more fabric to make myself a trouser set coord so hopefully I'll be showing that off to you guys soon.
The skirt I actually bought for my birthday day out but my mum stomped all over that dream telling me it wasn't suitable to walk around a huge manor house and grounds in a flippy, floaty skirt - she had a point! Nevertheless, I kept the skirt, after all it was only £5 in the sale! The jellies I've had for a month or so and now that it's getting a bit colder I don't get to wear them as much, but the day for this shoot was bright and sunny so I seized the opportunity to wear them once again. To finish off my ladylike look I added my new Primark necklace (so new it should still be in stores), it's floral design is absolutely in keeping with my feminine look.
Hope you like!

DeleteThe top you made is gorgeous, I wish I was a little more creative myself! I'm trying to get as much use as possible out of my jelly shoes as well before summer is officially over but it's been so dreary and wet that I doubt I'll get the chance now haha!
