Paisley Girl
30 January 2015
Paisley is probably my favourite print - with the 60s and 70s being my favourite era's it was inevitable really. This dress was actually in the sale from Primark for only £7. I thought it would be a great staple piece for all seasons teaming it with tights, as I've done here while it's still freezing or baring those white legs in the summer months. I opted for my brogues, quilted bag and teeny tiny waist belt to complete this look and I think the black accents work really well.
If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that I've had my hair chopped off, it hasn't magically grown back 4 inches, I just took these photos beforehand. Next week I'll be tackling the 70s trend and pretending I'm a rock star. Have a lovely weekend!

Lush Haul January 2015
28 January 2015
Floating Flower - bath bomb smells like: jasmine, creamy, lemon Phoenix Rising - bath ballistic smells like: cocoa, cinnamon Creamy Candy Bath - bubble bar slice smells like: candy (duh), almond Tisty Tosty - bath ballistic smells like: floral, rose, lemon Heartthrob - bubbleroon smells like: warmer climates, romance, playdough (in a good way) Unicorn Horn - bubble bar smells like: lavender, sweetness, fresh Love Lettuce - face mask smells like: fresh, almond, lavender
As soon as I saw Lush had their new Valentine range out I knew I just had to pop in and pick up some for myself. Being a single pringle I'm obviously not going to be sharing these with anyone special (don't cry for me, guys) but that just means I get to have all their yummy goodness to myself, right? Well, Ben & Jerry's might be there saving me but I digress...
I didn't pick up a lot of the new collection, I mainly had my eye on heartthrob and unicorn horn so I'm glad I nabbed those - they also smell absolutely amazing! The unicorn horn I'm going to be able to use a couple of times as it's a bubble bar, so I'll simply break off a bit at a time and get the same scents and luxurious feel. Tisty Tosty is another one I wanted to pick up, as I've said in the description caption under the images it is super floral in it's look and smell and so so feminine so great for those nights you just want to lay back and relax in the tub.
My absolute favourite that I go in for again and again is Love Lettuce, for the simple reason that it's great for my face - any break outs I may have are instantly diminished once I use it. Once or twice a week is enough to get my skin looking great with this stuff, plus I love that Lush do an incentive where if you bring back five of your used (but clean) pots you'll get a product of your choice for free.
Hope you're all having a lovely hump day, see you Friday!

Playsuit Playtime
26 January 2015
Some outfits just need a little bit of extra sass, don't they? I think this might be one of those outfits. The boots are so old that I actually have no idea where they're from, note to self BUY NEW HEELS, I only own about five pairs of heels as I don't really wear them being so tall, but I guess I should invest, I'm not the best at walking in them but we'll see how it goes. The bag is a little bargain I picked up in the ASOS sale a while ago and it's still available! The reason, I think, that it's still available is that it doesn't look that great on the website but buy it and you won't be disappointed! It's my go-to cross over bag.
The playsuit is an absolute dream. Obviously, as I've already said, I am a little on the tall side (5ft10/11) so finding a playsuit that fits is a little tedious and draining. This one fits perfectly and I love how comfortable I am in it (hence the sass posing). It's prefect for the cold weather with the long sheer sleeves but get rid of the tights and it'll be great for a night out in Spring too. The collar and necklace attachment just makes it even better and a statement piece to add to your wardrobe and keep there forever.
Have a lovely week everyone, see you Wednesday!

#3 Le Freak C'est Chic
23 January 2015
Trench Coat Primark (recent) | Roll neck New Look | Heeled Boots c/o Shoe Zone | Bag Primark | Skirt Primark (old)
HAPPY FRIDAY GUYS! Well not for me as I have work all weekend, but still...
Today is the third and final instalment of my 'three ways to wear' piece featuring this fantastic (seriously, can't get enough of it) trench coat from Primark - look out for me on the high street store's Instagram this weekend as well, they loved reading this piece as much as I loved writing it and will be featuring me on there Saturday or Sunday! *gushes* This last look is probably my favourite, even though I had to get my tic tac white legs out for it (apologies for that but they haven't seen the sun for quite some time) as it shows the trench off more than the other two looks now that it's tied.
For when the weather is a little less temperamental, this look is perfect for heading out to lunch with the girls and it's so comfortable too! The roll neck from New Look comes down to just below your waist and the skirt from Primark is high waisted so it's great proportions for covering that unshifting post-Christmas bulge. I received these boots a while ago from Shoe Zone and they're still seeing some action - the English weather has played a part in that. When I first featured them a lot of people asked me if they were comfortable, as heeled boots are a tough thing to get right. Short answer? They are, they have extra padding so you can wear them all day (and all of the night).
I hope you guys enjoyed my 'three ways to wear' posts, there will be another piece like this next month featuring a gorgeous striped top I recently purchased from River Island. Hope you all have a fab weekend and I'll see you Monday with a post that's a little less green.

#2 Walk Like A Man
21 January 2015
Trench coat Primark (recent) | Boyfriend Jeans ASOS | Mens Shirt Next (stolen from my brother's wardrobe) | Brogues Primark
My second outfit of the day in my 'three ways to wear the trench' piece is all about the androgynous look. It's comfortable and, I think, super sophisticated and so so easy to put together. I actually ransacked my brother's wardrobe to find a crisp, white shirt and found this one from Next that he's had for ages but never even worn. It's mine now. I think the collar on it works really well as well, not your typical pointed collar but rather a rounded edge making it a little bit more interesting.
Adding my boyfriend jeans into the mix just makes this look even more masculine but gives it a more casual look - I did have some black trousers laid out for this shoot but think these work better to dress it down. My brogues from Primark are still as shiny as ever and even though it is a masculine shoe I think the shiny finish on them adds a touch of femininity - there's not a lot of men who would feel comfortable in a shiny shoe. And of course, my trench completely makes this look. I love it and the comments I've received from you guys so far is telling me you love it just as much!
Third and final look is coming Friday, get ready!

#1 Roll with the Denim
19 January 2015
Trench Coat Primark | Necklace Primark | Tights Primark | Roll Neck Jumper Primark | Denim A-Line skirt ASOS | Chelsea Boots ASOS
Happy Monday everyone!
If you guys follow me on Instagram and Facebook then you will already know what this week entails and it is mainly all about the trench coat. I picked this green beauty up for £25 in Primark and absolutely fell in love with it. So much so that I decided I would do a 'three ways to wear' piece that'll run all this week. This first look is about keeping it simple and letting the coat do the talking. I may have said this before but my favourite skirt style is the A-Line as it suits my figure (long legs, small waist, big boobs) perfectly , balancing me out proportionally.
As it's still blooming cold outside I opted for my Primark roll neck which, although a quite a thin feeling material, keeps you incredibly warm and I love that you can roll the sleeves up for that effortless look. I think it works great with the denim skirt too. The last touch was my blinging necklace that is a statement in itself, I think it adds a little something to the whole look and without it it would be too ordinary.
Hope you liked this look, look out for the next one Wednesday!

Dungaree Day
16 January 2015
Dungarees Sobey's | Nike trainers ASOS | Striped top Primark (recent) | Camel coat out of stock more available here ASOS
When it comes to fashion you should always stick to your own personal style, if people don't like it that's their problem. When I started this blog I had no idea how big (it's still small in comparison to some others, obviously) it was going to become and with this ever growing readership came the realisation that these people - you guys, hey! - are actually reading what I'm typing. And with that scary realisation came the pressure to show you the next big trend, must I wear the new Missguided coat or Topshop bag that every other blogger seems to have already blogged about? No. I'm sticking to my guns and showing you outfits to hopefully inspire you out of the ordinary. Not that there's anything wrong with Missguided and Topshop of course.
And so, here is my new favourite wardrobe staple - my dungarees! I'd been after a pair for a while but looking online wasn't giving me much inspiration plus you can't try them on online can you? Oh imagine if you could!! After that terrible internet trawl I decided I'd have a look when I went to Bristol with my cousin (I wrote about what we got up to here) as they have a heck of a lot more vintage and charity shops than my little home town. And behold, I found my perfect pair waiting for me in Sobey's vintage store (if you're ever in Bristol pay them a visit, those ladies are fab). This pair is meant to be full length but I'm 5ft 10 and denim just won't stretch that far but I often roll up my jeans anyway so this was no different for me. I love them and have been living, jumping, lunging and running around in them ever since I purchased them.
Teamed with my ASOS camel coat, favourite striped top of the moment from Primark and funky Nike trainers this is a look that's going to take me all the way through to Spring/ Summer. Hope you liked my 'different from the norm' outfit post, have a lovely weekend!
