All items from Primark PS Love range
The Primark make up range - PS Love - has been in stores for a long old while now but I'd never really thought to pick any of it up until the other week. I'd seen Becca Rose's video about some of her favourites from the range I thought 'if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me.' All the products are such incredible value for money and I absolute adore the colours of everything from the lipsticks to the nail polishes. So let's get on with it shall we?
I'll start with the eye shadow palettes - one is for day and the other night - I decided to pick up both simply because they were only £2.50 each, whattttt??? The pigmentation of all the colours is really fantastic, the day palette I have literally been wearing everyday. I don't really like spending that much on eye shadows as I don't wear them that often, these two have totally turned changed my mind they're just so pretty. The nail polishes came in a pack of four and all the colours completely compliment each other, you could use just the one colour at a time if you wanted or do what I've been doing and paint one fingernail different to the others. I had to layer up this nail polish - I do this with every brand of nail polish I use anyway - to make the colour even deeper and obviously they'll chip less.
The face powder and foundation stick were the two things I wasn't too sure of when I was browsing, but the face powder is amazing! It's sets my make up perfectly and because I do have quite oily skin it gives it a completely matte finish...this is probably why the foundation stick doesn't work for me. It seems to be quite greasy on my skin, but like I said my skin is full of moisture anyway, so it might be different on you guys. I do still use it as a concealer for under the eyes and that works perfectly! The bronzer is amazing for that sun kissed look that I love, being quite pale I don't tend to wear an awful lot of bronzer because I just end up looking like an oompa lumpa gone seriously wrong. Lastly, I picked up a lip stick and lip crayon. Both are actually more subtle to the lip than the colours you can see in the photos, but they're still absolutely gorgeous. They also smell and taste really nice which, for me, is a huge plus however, as you would expect with lip make up this inexpensive they don't last all that long. I find I have to put a lot more on throughout the day than if I were wearing other brands (namely Rimmel) I use.
Hope you enjoyed this little Primark beauty haul, stay tuned for Wednesday's post where there will be an outfit of the day going down. Hope you all have a lovely Monday.

DeleteI find the primark make-up to be pretty hit or miss; I find the eye-shadows really hard to work with but their felt eyeliner is my absolute favorite eyeliner. I really need to try the lip products though, they look like really pretty colours
