(all images by me)
So it's been a little while since I last did one of these bedroom tour's, and yes, while I'm still in this same teeny-tiny room I've made a few changes to try and stamp a bit more personality on it but still keeping it organised! I hate mess! I'm not going to write about every little thing in these photo's but I will explain some of my favourites…
Photograph's
I'm a big fan of photography (not that I'm all that good at it) and I particularly love the feature wall I've created with photo's mainly of my late auntie, who was so much more than just 'auntie' to me. While her not being around anymore is painful it's nice to remember the good times we had together in the past – she helped my mum a lot when I was first born and I'm so grateful to have know her. Anyway, enough soppy stuff, my other little hobby is polaroid photography – I love anything 60s/70s related and vintage is definitely a passion of mine.
Music
Like I said, I love looking back on previous era's, what better way to look back than to listen to some absolute legend's on the material it was intended to be listened on – vinyl. From The Beatles to Cat Stevens, The Carpenter's to ABBA music is an incredibly personal thing, everyone's collection will be different – my Steepletone stereo allows me to transport back to era's I never got to live in through music I appreciate so much.
Books
It's a fact that I am a book hoarder, half of these books I haven't even read…yet but, again looking back is something I love. Learning more about fashion (a real passion of mine) and how it's evolved is so interesting – I studied a lot throughout college and university but still want to learn more. Fan of reading too? I highly recommend Not that kind of girl by Lena Dunham.
Miscellaneous
You may have noticed some of my taste is a tad outside the norm, for example my handmade stag head is another one of my favourite things – I asked for the wooden pack for Christmas and covered it in paper, super easy and super effective! I love the shelving unit my brother made for me to hold all my sunglasses and my cacti and prized radio possession my brother bought me for Christmas…what a babe he is.
Hope you enjoyed nosing around my bedroom (obviously my favourite thing is Daisy dog and unfortunately she is not available for you to buy).
