I'd had my eye on this pinafore denim dream ever since it first landed on ASOS, but didn't like the almost £40 price tag it came with. Don't get me wrong, £40 really isn't that much is it? But it wasn't something I particularly needed so I left it in my save for later…and I'm glad I did! It was £22.50 in the sale! YAY! I love this patchwork look it has going on, and it's a great length and fit for me as well. When I go January sale shopping I'm trying to no longer thing about winter, so knitwear was a no-no in this haul, instead I bought things I knew would carry me through to Spring and Summer – like this dress. Perfect with Converse and a plain white tee I can't wait to wear it – of course you'll probably see it on here a lot sooner than Spring!

The other day I was watching a Mary Portas documentary all about what Britain bought in 2015, aside from a Spiralizer, Deliciously Ella cookbook and a Charlotte Crosby fitness DVD the 70s trend was one of the main things we bought into. I think I provided half of that income to be honest, so when I saw this skirt on ASOS down from £70 to a mere £24.50!!!!! I added it straight to my basket. Such a bargain for an amazing skirt, it's selling out pretty quickly obviously with just a few sizes left, I thought the colour would be perfect for Spring, I want to make the most out of wearing suede before it goes off-trend again – not that I overly care for trends anyway.

A striped shapeless dress is the perfect wardrobe staple for any Spring/ Summer wardrobe – super handy just to throw on on days when you really can't be fussed, ahem, most days for me then and teamed with trainers and a denim jacket it's going to look perfect! This mint green and white one was just £13 in the sale, but they also do it in blue and white for £18 – I only chose this design as, a) it's cheaper and b) it's a different colour for me to go for!

I'd been on the hunt for a pair of Chelsea boots that could rival my beloved ASOS ones that I bought last year – they're still in good condition, but you know it's nice to have options! Of course, ASOS had the dream pair again, a little different to my other ones as these are pointed with a bit more detailing to them. They were only £19 down from £32 but they're pretty much a sell out with only a few small sizes left – I got mine in a size eight as I'm between a seven and eight and find ASOS go a little smaller to sizes, they fit perfectly and are so comfortable, too.

The Reclaimed Vintage section of ASOS is one of my favourite parts of the site – filled with reworked vintage fashion that looks as good as new! The print is what caught my eye first on this dress then I knew the shape and fit would be great for my figure, and I really loved the bell sleeves too, super 70s! This one was down from £40 to £28, so still a little on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality – it'll look great at the moment with tights and boots then look even better in the Spring/ Summer when 'no tights' can finally be a thing again.

The tall section is also another part of the ASOS website I can't get enough of! Being 5ft 11 has its perks, but there's also downfalls – the main one being trousers often fit really terribly. Not this pair, though. At only £14.50, down from £30 I knew they were going to be of great quality, but what you don't really get from the website's pictures is the texture on them – it's amazing, and adds a little something extra to the design. There was a choice of two colours and as I'm trying to branch out with my colour ways I opted for the green, there's burgundy too and I was all ready to snap them up in that colour but of course my size is gone.

Of course I can't just go on ASOS and buy just ONE suede thing, that would be crazy – so I picked up this blue suede dress which had also been in my save for later for a while, but the £80 price that came with it with no valid discount codes at the time was killing me! But here it is a couple of months later at £40 and hanging in my wardrobe. I've already styled this in a look that'll be up on the blog soon, so keep an eye out – it's got pockets as well, I LOVE LOVE LOVE a dress with pockets!
