I decided it was high time I added a few more homeware bits to my room as a fresh update ready for Spring (FYI, I'm going to be talking about Spring a lot this week, so excited!). The lovely people at Ocean Finance asked me to pick up a few new pieces that, I'm not going to lie, I'd been eyeing up for a while, so take a look at some of the bits I picked up…

This pouffe or foot stool, depending on what you want to call it, I actually spotted when I was just randomly Googling one day, and I'm so glad it popped up! I had wanted one for a while and after looking a bit more in shops etc but seeing that they were actually considerably more expensive I decided to order this one and hey presto! it was ready to be collected in store – and it was only £25! I think it was the bright colours and pompoms that attracted me to this design of pouffe, I wanted to brighten up my room a little bit and as I'm moving soon (more on that as soon as I can post) I wanted to bring something fun with me.

I'm not one to spend a lot of money on candles and I find Primark is one of the best places to get super strong smelling candles for a bargain price! This seasalt one just smells amazingly fresh and, as the label would suggest, like spending a day at the beach – it's also lasting me really well. The mug from Not Shabby Very Chic I decided to get when I spotted it on their Instagram, I had worked with the brand before so knew I would be getting a great product and at a good price. Obviously, calligraphy and cute mug designs sort of go hand in hand nowadays in the blogging world but as with candles I don't overly see the point of spending a lot on mugs so this one was perfect for me.

Who doesn't love fairy lights? I had recently gotten rid of my previous Primark fairy lights so decided to pop into the High Street store again to pick up some for the new season! I love the print of these, paisley and blue go hand in hand in my opinion and these are great if you have an all white room, or even just a one colour room to add a little something extra.

And last but not least was something I created myself – what's a homeware haul without a terrarium anyway? Most people (let's be honest mainly bloggers) add cactus or succulent to terrariums but I wanted to do something different as I already have my cactus terrarium as you may have already seen here and added some more Primark candles instead. I may have also stolen some of my dad's stones out of the garden and put the candles in at different levels to add a little more interest and depth.
What did you think of my little haul and what are you looking to pick up for Spring? Let me know!

DeleteLove what you did with the terrarium! I just potted mine with a cactus but I like the idea of using it for something a bit unconventional :)

I've changed this one into a cactus terrarium now, might keep changing it up now xx
DeleteThat terrarium is my absolute favourite, so different to the typical plants. I also bet it would make for a super romantic or super chill room if you had a couple doted around the room!
