We all know the now infamous line from Devil Wears Prada,
"Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking!" but, when the floral print is just this damn pretty, then what else is there that we'd want to wear? From the label
Louche on
JOY's website, this pretty 50s-esques tea
dress is the perfect staple from the (hopefully warm) Spring and Summer months. However, it's also a piece in my wardrobe that will work well in the colder months, too – simply add thick black tights, an even thicker coat and some Chelsea boots and you're all set!
I decided to cinch in my waist that little bit more with a thick brown belt from
Primark, added my new shoe boots from
Boohoo with this amazing fringing detail and my little vintage bag that I bought perhaps two or three years ago at a vintage fair. As the dress is so interesting with the various hem line levels and bold print, you can go easy on the accessories which is what I've done here – sticking to one colour (in this case, brown) it just gives it that extra well-finished look.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you're up to, mine's a busy one as I'm moving to London…eek…

DeleteThat dress is so pretty! I got a very similar one from Primark a few weeks ago and it's quickly become my favourite. It looks great with tan accessories, I'll have to try that with mine!
