Channeling my inner Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine) I couldn't resist picking up this gorgeous Zara blouse on a recent shopping trip to one of the London stores. I find Zara isn't that great for browsing quickly online, much like my beloved ASOS, there's a heck of a lot on there and as the images are so big - lovely, but big - you can't really skim through them. Plus, the majority of the time I have a nice experience when I go into a store as the staff are always friendly and happy to help you - the way it should be! Anyway, I bought a few bits while in there and one of my favourite pieces was this cream blouse which I've now seen also comes in mustard yellow and blue *sigh* so I may have to take another trip there soon.
It's a really well thought out, well made top to have in your wardrobe - the fluted bell-sleeves give it an ethereal and effortless look and the v-neck is a flattering fit on any body shape! The back, which I annoyingly haven't shown in these pictures, features a sort of shoe lace design (only nicer, obviously) so it's quite open and has a deep-v cut as well. I decided on this hot hot hot day that I would get my pale white legs out and team this blouse with my favourite button-through skirt from ASOS and the shoes that are currently stuck to my feet - these 'ginger' loafers from Next. It's a casual summers day look but the blouse can easily be jazzed up for a night out, I've worn it with my Joni jeans, chunky boots and thick black choker for an evening look, so it's just a super versatile piece to have hanging in your wardrobe, plus it's completely transitional and timeless. YAS!
You look lovely : ) loving the shoes too xx
