ASOS New In - 14 Great Fashion Pieces for Spring

21 February 2021

Topshop zip funnel neck top in ivory Missguided Tall basic jogger in blueI cannot tell you how excited I am to say that Spring is just around the corner! For the past couple of weeks the tulips and daffodils have been added to the supermarket shop and one or two Easter eggs might have already been consumed. When I'm not flower arranging or eating my weight in chocolate, I'm taking a look on ASOS and getting excited about the daily drops of pastel colours and lightweight fabrics. Whilst I love me some Winter, Spring is all about new beginnings and that goes for your wardrobe as well. These 14 pieces are currently sat in my saved for later list, ready for when the warmer months arrive!

Starting with this zip funnel top from Topshop (how happy are we all that Topshop is still with us?) which is just a really simple piece to pair with jeans and then skirts when it gets closer to Summer. I also haven't completely forgotten that we're currently in a National lockdown so joggers obviously had to be featured on this post. But, it's definitely time to update the grey and black loungwear and inject some colour with these Missguided basic joggers. I bought some in green over Winter and they're so comfy for day-to-day, offering true working from home vibes.

ASOS DESIGN cable v neck cardigan in cream ASOS DESIGN shirred mini tiered smock dress in blue gingham
I am now all about the cardigan! Teamed with a pair of high waisted, light wash jeans and some white trainers, or draped over a mini floral dress - they're a great fashion piece to have in your wardrobe for Spring and Summer. Let's be honest, it's not always pub garden weather in England so a jacket or cardy is always needed.

The thought of getting my legs out both horrifies and excited me (pass the fake tan!). But, with dresses like these coming through for the warmer month, the excitement takes over. The puff sleeves, the tiered skirt and V-neck all make for a great Summer mini dress...also, it would look great with the cardigan, let's. be honest.

New Look Tall sweatshirt in lilac ASOS DESIGN mini wrap dress with short puff sleeve and tiered hem and shoulder embroidery in black
Sweatshirts are here to replace the knitted jumpers we've worn endlessly over Winter and if they come in a pretty pastel colour then I ain't mad. This pink one from New Look is great for something to chuck on with jeans and kinda look like you're got your sh*t together.

I meaannnn, it wouldn't be a Spring fashion post without some florals thrown in, would it? A simple mini black dress with little pops of colour is just the thing to easy you into Spring come March. Throw an oversized denim jacket over it and you've got a great, easy look.

ASOS DESIGN pleated mini skirt in camel mini check ASOS DESIGN wrap midi skirt in floral print

A good couple of skirts added to your wardrobe really will see you through the warmer months. This pleated mini skirt will look great with a crisp white T-shirt or linen shirt, add some trainers or chunky brogues and you've got an outfit that'll see you through SO many brunches (hopefully). But, if the mini skirt isn't quite your thing then a midi skirt should work! This floral wrap skirt is a super easy and versatile piece - wear with T-shirts in Summer then knitted jumpers and boots in Autumn and Winter.

ASOS DESIGN mixed print floral smock top ASOS DESIGN ultimate organic cotton t-shirt with crew neck in lavender
I love love looooove a good floral blouse! They're just so so easy to just throw on but actually make you look like you've spent ages planning your outfit. This floral, long sleeved smock top will work great with white or blue mom jeans or a ripped denim skirt and will then see you through to Autumn.

Lilac is always a huge colour for Spring. If you're a little shy when it comes to colour then why not ease your way in with this T-shirt? It could work with the two skirts on this list as well as a whole host of other outfits - denim particularly looks great with this shade. Grab the dungaree dress or shorts!

Stradivarius Tall 90s dad jean in ecru ASOS DESIGN 90s tie shoulder jumpsuit in yellow floral
White and cream are just great great colours to wear for this season. Add some crispness to your look with these tall dad jeans from Stradivarius, somewhere I just bladdy love for jeans as they fit so well (so do Pull & Bear's jeans, fyi). They would also look great with that lilac T-shirt.

An easy breezy piece for your wardrobe will always be the jumpsuit! They're just so effortless to wear - I've worn the one I've had in my wardrobe for years so much so now I was on the hunt for another one. Obviously, a floral one was always going to be on the cards for Spring and when I spotted this one on ASOS (and for the price!) I knew it was something I would want when it gets a bit warmer.

Topshop Denim Shacket in Mid denim
If you haven't got a shacket (a shirt and a jacket become one) in your collection then what have you been doing for the past three years? A little lighter than your standard denim jacket, the shacket is great worn buttoned up or worn loosely over any ol' thing - but a mini dress is always a winner!

Lilac is here again! This rugby sweatshirt would also look fab with with the cream dad jeans this Spring or even some high waisted denim shorts when it get a little bit warmer.
